This is a long but spectacular day: about 4 hours of mountain road each way, with many photo stops at the pass and in the valleys.
In Ait Ben Haddou you can walk up through the earthen kasbah to the top for a great view. In Ouarzazate you can visit the Taourirt Kasbah or the film studios.
